Dating as far back as the Paleolithic Age, humans have been using Gua (‘scrape’) Sha techniques as a healing modality to bring relaxation, increase circulation and reduce fine lines. It’s beginnings started with everyday ordinary objects such as coins or rocks and within Traditional Chinese medicine, a Buffalo horn was used as a spatula to massage away ailments.

Our modern day Gua Sha tool is made of White Jade, an esteemed stone for its cooling and balancing properties, custom carved with edges and grooves to amplify its effects. Regular Gua Sha use can aid in lymphatic drainage, quicken skin regeneration, reduced muscle tension, eye puffiness, reduce inflammation, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, relieve migraines, and so much more. 

Directions: Apply tallow whip or oil, then using light pressure, gently glide the stone at a 30-45º angle in gentle, upward and outward strokes along jawline and cheeks, and down the neck (avoiding throat).
